Located in the heart of old Denver, on the St. Joseph Medical Campus in City Park West, Tammen Hall is a gorgeous Art Deco historic renovation project that is now home to senior residents 62 and older. The 49 units are 100% affordable at 60% of AMI.

The building was originally built as a nurse dormitory in 1931 and used for various purposes over the years until it was left vacant in 2007. MGL purchased the building from SCL Health in 2017 and used Federal and State Low Income Housing Tax Credits, Federal and State Historic Tax Credits, soft funding sources and 4% bond financing to renovate the building and create new housing.

In addition to living in a walkable neighborhood, senior residents have access to a community room with a stunning restored Allen Tupper True mural, a rooftop deck with a view of downtown Denver and the mountains, a theater and a secure outdoor courtyard.
